(Senior) Manager, Major Infrastructure

Overall Job Purpose:

The incumbent will be required to oversee implementation of the infrastructure and building development projects from inception to completion. As an integrator for project development, he/she shall plan and deliver development projects within budget, on time, meet the intended purpose, with good safety record and with minimum disruption to existing businesses, operations and guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on planning and implementation of development projects from project inception to handover.
2. Develop detailed implementation strategies and programmes.
3. Identify project risks, formulate project risk management plans and implement the necessary mitigation measures.
4. Identify project interface issues and work with all interfacing parties to develop mitigation measures.
5. Develop project briefs, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
6. Responsible for the project management for the entire project life-cycle.
7. Conduct regular site visit/inspections and submit reports on quality and progress.
8. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meets the specified quality standards.
9. Able to work independently in leading project teams as well as able to work in highly collaborative environment.
10. Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Minimum 10 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
3. Must have project management experience in engineering infrastructure projects and have managed contracts with value of at least S$80 million.
4. Possess strong written & communication skill in English and able to engage stakeholders from diverse background.
5. Project management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering or infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
6. Project management or design experience in bridge projects would be an advantage.
