The Real-Time Payments Strategy Consultant will support the development and execution of client’s real-time payment products’ strategic roadmap. This individual will support the client team in identifying market opportunities, defining product roadmap, and enabling the successful execution of the real-time payment products. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, compliance, and marketing, to define innovative real-time payment solutions that meet the business goals.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the development, planning and execution of a comprehensive strategy for real-time payment products, aligned with the client's vision and business objectives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the real-time payments landscape.
• Support the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects business goals, market demands, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and incorporate feedback into the product strategy and roadmap development process.
• Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Prepare presentations on product strategies, roadmap updates, and performance metrics for alignment with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments impacting real-time payments, as well as new technologies and industry best practices to support the definition of RTP product roadmap

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in payments strategy or payments product management. Consulting experience highly preferred
• Strong understanding of the real-time payments ecosystem, including technologies, regulatory environment, and market trends.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functional teams
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
