The Strategic Initiatives & PMI team is Grab's strategy-to-execution engine for our most critical enterprise-wide priorities. Operating alongside the Corporate Strategy team under the Head of Group Corporate Strategy, we tackle high-stakes, ambiguous business challenges and translate them into measurable outcomes.

You will join a high-performing team of ex-MBB alumni who combine top-tier consulting rigor with hands-on functional and operational experience across tech, commercial, and operational roles. We pride ourselves on rigorous problem framing and clarity of thought, paired with a practical execution mindset. Our portfolio spans shaping corporate growth initiatives (e.g., evaluating new market entries and regional expansion strategies), driving massive operational turnarounds (e.g., end-to-end transformation of core business functions), and leading complex post-merger integrations across our regional footprint.

Get to Know the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of the team, you will lead high-priority strategic projects, operational transformations, and post-merger integration (PMI) workstreams. We are looking for a Senior Manager who brings top-tier strategic rigor but has moved beyond pure advisory work to build diverse, practical business experience.

You will not just be making recommendations; you will structure the problem, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive ground-level implementation. Success requires exceptional clarity of thought, the ability to frame highly ambiguous problems, and a collaborative, empathetic approach to stakeholder management across matrixed teams.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Corporate Strategy Projects: Partner with strategy and executive leadership to frame complex corporate strategy questions (e.g., regional expansion, new business model entry) and design actionable operational roadmaps to deliver them.
• Transformation Programs: Own the end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformations. Define the problem, size the opportunity, and orchestrate cross-functional execution to improve business performance and ways of working.
• Post-Merger Integration (M&A): Lead integration planning and execution for major regional acquisitions. Support M&A due diligence, stress-test deal synergies, and ensure value capture targets are achieved across commercial, operational, product, and people workstreams.
• Executive Alignment: Act as a thought partner to senior business leaders. Translate complex analyses into clear, structured narratives to influence decision-making and secure buy-in across diverse country teams, verticals, and functions.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Experience: 10+ years of working experience. Top-tier management consulting background (e.g., MBB or equivalent), combined with a diversity of practical functional experience (e.g., Sales, Commercial leadership, Product Management, Go-to-Market, or Business Operations).
• Problem Framing & Clarity of Thought: Break down highly ambiguous, complex problems into clear, MECE frameworks and actionable workstreams.
• End-to-End Program Ownership: Proven track record of taking strategies off the whiteboard and orchestrating cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Ops, Sales) to drive full implementation and measurable commercial impact.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate dynamic, fast-paced matrix environments. Deeply collaborative and capable of driving alignment across varied functions without formal reporting authority.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel across Grab's Southeast Asian markets as project needs dictate.

Good to Have

• Experience in the technology sector, consumer internet, mobility, delivery, financial services, fintech, or e-commerce is a strong plus.
• Direct experience leading M&A due diligence, post-investment reviews, and end-to-end post-merger integrations.
