Senior Market Analyst (Investment)

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing TA and FA research during stock earnings season and support higher priority / hot stocks (with a strong focus on ASEAN region)
• Prepare and publish market summaries and key market insights on a weekly basis (for both retail and key account business)
• Collaborate across functions with various internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of market insights via appropriate channels.
• Produce original financial thought-leadership articles from a personal / lifestyle finance point of view that is relatable to a large group of general audience
• Conduct and host webinars for industry partners
• May be required to attend relevant industry and media events
• Keep abreast of fresh economic news and financial market related events
• Work closely with and assist Chief Market Strategist where required

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the financial markets, securities and/or insurance industries.
• Minimum a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance and/or Economics, or a related field is essential. Professional accreditations such as CFA, CMT or equivalent would be desired.
• Sound knowledge of different financial products and asset classes and possess CMFAS certification (RES1A/RES1B, RES2B, RES5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP, M8, M8A, M9, M9A, HI)
• Passionate about both the financial markets and engaging with clients on an interpersonal basis
• English speaking and Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage
• Result-oriented, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and be a team player. 
• Have experience with trading and investing platforms such as Moomoo’s app, TradingView and Bloomberg Terminal
• May be required to work certain weekends
