Senior Nurse Manager (Operating Theatre)

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish unit goals and objectives in collaboration with the clinical team.

• Oversee staff induction, competency assessments, training, and career development.

• Ensure quality and safe nursing care through continuous evaluation and improvement.

• Review incident reports and implement preventive action plans.

• Monitor budget and resource utilization for operational efficiency.

• Manage staff scheduling and appropriate skill mix based on patient acuity.

• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Apply systems thinking to support operational and clinical improvements.

• Lead recruitment, development, and retention of nursing staff.

Requirements:

• At least 5 - 8 years' Nurse Manager experience in Operating Theatre

• Strong hands-on experience in developing hospital workflow processes and nursing management protocols
• Registered with SNB
• Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in Perioperative or Perianaesthesia Nursing will be a strong advantage
