Job Description
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will be part of Group Investment Banking's Business Management team and will be responsible for the following areas:
Finance-related
Reporting to Head of GIB on the income on weekly basis.
Ensuring that fee income and expenses are accurately recorded in the Bank's finance system.
Monitoring and follow-up on invoicing and outstanding fee receivable.
Performing monthly GL reconciliation.
Submitting of reports to Business Finance for management reporting.
Prepare and monitoring of department's annual budget.
Assist with internal audit matters, when necessary.
Circulate of deal broadcast and maintenance of distribution list.
Adhoc reporting as and when required.
Compliance-related
Maintenance of restricted lists for confidential deals.
Submission of regulatory returns and internal compliance reports.
Maintenance of internal records/registers required (e.g. gifts and entertainment).
Job Requirements
Basic knowledge of accounting and finance is fundamental for this role.
Proficient in MS office tools, especially excel.
Numbers oriented and attention to details.
Proactive and comfortable to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good team player and strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) as the role involves frequent interactions with internal stake holders.
Knowledge of wholesale banking business is an advantage but not an essential requirement.
Qualifications
Graduate Degree from a recognized university (preferably Accountancy, Banking or Finance) or relevant professional qualification in financial services.
At least 2 years in the banking/finance service would be preferred. Experience in financial payments would be advantages.
