Senior Operations Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION – SENIOR OPERATIONS ASSISTANT Rolled Alloys Singapore Ltd is actively looking for responsible and hardworking Senior Operations Assistant to support our daily manufacturing operations. As a senior operations assistant, you are responsible to support Operation Manager with the following duties in accordance with company policies and operating procedures:

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments against delivery documents

• Book inspected products into ERP system and store them in designated inventory locations

• Plan, schedule and assign production orders in accordance with delivery due dates

• Operate various machinery and equipment according to company standard operating procedures

• Pick, cut, inspect and pack finished products in accordance with production schedule & operational requirement

• Report any product defects, material issues, machine problems, or safety concerns to the Operation Manager

• Process completed orders in inventory ERP system

• Prepare outbound shipping paperwork for local & overseas customer

• Arrange deliveries / collection with drivers & forwarders

• Ensure periodic machine preventive maintenance are carried out timely

• Perform annual stock-taking

• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards

• Take stock of warehouse consumables & notify Operation Manager for replenishment

• Perform other operational-related duties as assigned by the Operation Manager

Job Requirements:

• At least GCE N / O level / SPM or equivalent

• At least 5 years of warehousing/production/manufacturing experience preferred

• Able to read and understand basic English instructions and work documents

• Able to perform simple mathematical calculations

• Basic computer knowledge

• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, non-airconditioned production environment

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties

• Able to carry and move heavy goods approximately up to 30 kgs when necessary

• Adhere to workplace safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment

• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently and as a team

• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to changes in work assignments or processes

• Able to work overtime when required, subject to company operational needs

• Forklift license holder is a must

• On-the-job training will be provided

• 5 working days per week
