(Senior) Pharmacy Assistant (Contract) - Hiring Fast

The Challenges:

• Perform the technical duties under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs
• Process medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing which involves typing of prescription, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
• Perform the following medication reconciliation steps
• Monitor and maintain inventory stock level of drugs in the area of work
• Ensure stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-In-First-Out requirement and stipulated storage condition
• Oversee general housekeeping within the section and ensure proper maintenance of equipment within the respective section

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level and/or Polytechnic Diploma (non-Pharmaceutical studies) preferred
• Fast learner and competent in IT skills
• Have teamwork and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to function and communicate effectively
