Senior Power Electronics Engineer (Firmware) - Room for Advancement

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement control algorithms and embedded firmware for high-power converters using C/C++ programming language and model-based design methodology.
• Knowledge of various communication protocols is applied to product development.
• Testing strategies are planned and executed, including bench testing, validation testing, unit testing, integration testing, and system level testing.
• Developing lab tests tools and support development of routine testing/systems for production systems.
• Creäte clear documentation for firmware design and test results.
• Provide support for identifying and troubleshooting field issues, customization requirements, and knowledge dissemination.
• Contribution to all phases of the firmware development life cycle is ensured, and working closely with R&D teams, field applications, and production teams for specifications, design, prototyping, and fabrication.
• Technical issues are found and solved during new product development and improvement.
• Technical guidance is provided to the software team, and the role involves planning and scheduling to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Masters’ or PhD Degree in Power Electronics, Electrical or Electronics Engineer or Computer Science with 2+ years related working experience.
• Experience in firmware design, embedded software development, implementation in microcontrollers and real time control.
• With programming skills and excellent knowledge in various industrial communication protocol and implementation.
