Senior Project Engineer - Leading Industry Pay

The successful candidate will assist the IT Project Manager in shaping our core business functions to increase customer satisfaction, generate higher revenues, and improve operation efficiency. You will work closely with key functional teams within our organization as well as technology providers to manage and attain the business objectives of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• You will be assigned one project under your care to drive project deliveries with internal/external business users and business partners.
• Communicate effectively and provide timely updates to clients upon completion of milestones and issues.
• Manage external vendors and change requests to ensure successful delivery on time.
• Ensure project activities and weekly reports are documented in detail.
• Participate and contribute in requirements gathering, acceptance testing, training and implementation.
• Ensure project and incident SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met.
• Identify potential project risks and recommend mitigation measures to manage risks.
• Ability to work well under pressure and liaise with stakeholders/project teams in different time zones/cultures.
• Any other tasks assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• At least Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• Proven working experience in the information technology sector.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and SQL.
• Minimum 5 years of IT working experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
• Sense of ownership and passionate character.
• Experience in application development or application testing will be an added advantage
