Senior / Project Engineer (Security & Automation Systems)

• Basic $3800 to $6500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Working location: Northeast 
• Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon to Fri) 
• Security System Projects and Automation/Control System Projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Assist the Project Manager in managing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and according to client requirements.
• System Design & Integration: Oversee the design, configuration, and integration of security systems, SCADA, control systems, PLCs, and associated technologies, ensuring all systems are implemented in accordance with project requirements.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, installation, and other relevant departments, to ensure project alignment and seamless execution.
• Documentation: Prepare and review project documentation, including project plans, specifications, technical drawings, operation manuals, method statements, risk assessments, and as-built drawings.
• Site Management: Conduct site surveys, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities at client sites for both security and automation systems.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, hardware, software integration, and field commissioning. Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users during implementation and handover phases.
• Coordination & Communication: Communicate and coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery of materials, and services.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proposal & Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing technical proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for new projects and system installations.
• Maintenance & Support: Provide maintenance services and preventive/corrective measures for security and automation systems as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Control System Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant working experience, with preference for candidates experienced in security system installation and automation/control systems.
