SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER (SOLAR/EV/BESS)

Job Description:

• Handle sustainable energy projects & determine the right technologies for a particular application to meet the requirement of clients. Sustainable energy projects such as PV, BESS & EV Charging System
• Evaluate & propose alternative solution & system integration for the overall project plan
• Ensure system compliance with regulatory bodies & standards such as SCDF, BCA, EMA, etc
• Knowledge of relevant IEC & UL standards
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule & quality of work from site preparation stage till project completion & handover to clients
• Work with agencies, clients & contractors on any technical issues
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved plans, quality standard procedure, safety requirements & in a timely manner
• Provide regular progress update reports
• Perform planning, scheduling & implementing project maintenance works
• Carry out troubleshooting, test, repair & installation works as & when required
• Planning, cost control, work measurement & collection of performance data
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the Project Manager which is necessary for the execution of the project
• Ensure project technical issues are monitored, resolved & escalated where appropriate

Job Requirement:

• Degree or Bachelor in Engineering (Power / Electrical / Clean Energy or related discipline)
• At least 4 years in PV system design & engineering and project management
• Knowledge of codes such as the IEC, Singapore Standards and construction practices
• Working knowledge of standard electrical calculations, basic structural & mechanical calculation
• Competence in AutoCAD is a must
• Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Good documentation & report writing skills
• Must be able to apply new technologies such as ESS, EV Charging etc
• Able to work independently and able to lead a team
• Knowledge of PVsyst
• Able to communicate with Chinese speaking customers and contractors
