Senior Project Engineer/Manager (Electrical)

Responsibilities 

• Prepare work and project schedule based on the scope - document and material submission lists, material lead time, installation and testing period
• Design & review the drawings and documents for timely submission to customer
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions for purchase of project materials on time 
• Coordinate for site work activities installation, testing & commissioning and progress report
• Participate in customer meetings and manage customer expectations by preparing necessary submissions and minutes of meeting etc.
• Collaborate with Customer, Consultant, Owner, Third Parties, Suppliers & internal team members for successful project execution
• Organize & coordinate for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of necessary equipment
• Perform pre-punch list and clearing of punch list defects in collaboration with site team
• Plan the construction site manpower requirement and organize safety training for teams
• Comply with the PQP document for project execution

Project Manager’s Role 

• Provide overall leadership, governance and management of the project team
• Responsible for resource planning, recruitment, development and retention
• Coach and train the Project Engineers / Designer / Drafters and manage appraisal for team’s professional development
• Manage all project stakeholders
• Responsible for execution of projects on Safety, Quality, Design, Procurement, Construction, Contractual, Budget, Schedule and Resources
• Project Cost control to ensure profit margin for the projects
• Achieve all assigned projects’ objectives (timely delivery, project cost within allocated budget etc.)
• Conduct regular meetings with the Project Team on Project status

Requirement

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• More than 3 years of project management experience in related field
• Those with 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for Manager's role
• Experienced in handling multiple projects
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills 
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Projects/Primavera
• Singaporean/PR
