Senior Project Manager – New Product Introduction (NPI)

Overview

Our cProject Team is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within a high-tech manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving multiple cross-functional projects from product development through industrialization while ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in multicultural, global organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple NPI projects simultaneously from initiation through successful implementation.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.

• Develop, maintain, and execute realistic project plans while effectively managing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.

• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets while maintaining quality and business objectives.

• Apply structured project management methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Lead stakeholder communication, project reporting, governance, and executive updates.

• Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and effectively manage project changes.

• Foster strong working relationships across geographically distributed and multicultural teams, including close collaboration with Singapore and Dutch stakeholders.

• Take a hands-on approach when required to resolve project challenges and maintain project momentum.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a growth mindset within project teams.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager leading New Product Introduction (NPI) or new product development projects.

• Strong background within the high-tech machine production, mechanical, or mechatronics industry.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.

• Extensive experience working with Stage-Gate and V-Model development methodologies across:

  • Product Technology/Product Development (TPD)

  • Process Development

  • Process Implementation

  • Process Verification

  • Product Validation

• Excellent project management capabilities, including:

  • Project planning and scheduling

  • Stakeholder management

  • Risk management

  • Change management

  • Budget and cost control

  • Project execution and governance

• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage projects within budget.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Proven ability to work effectively within multicultural teams and influence stakeholders across different organizational levels.

• Hands-on, results-driven individual with a proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.

• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence and process optimization.
