Senior / Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)

Job Summary

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Senior / Quantity Surveyor to join our professional consultancy team. In this role, you will deliver end-to-end commercial advisory, precise cost modeling, and contract administration across various development projects from inception through execution.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Contract Administration: Oversee comprehensive quantity surveying duties, financial reporting, and contract administration across assigned project portfolios.

Feasibility & Early Cost Advice: Conduct preliminary financial evaluations and provide strategic early cost insights to help clients establish viable project budgets.

Cost Estimating & Planning: Develop, refine, and present detailed cost estimates and comprehensive cost management plans at key design stages.

Value Engineering & Cost Control: Facilitate value management sessions and enforce continuous cost control measures to optimize budget efficiency without compromising quality.

Requirements

Education: Recognised Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience (prior exposure in a Quantity Surveying Consultancy firm is strongly preferred).

Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in specialized QS software (e.g., CostX, Glodon/Cubicost) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Core Competencies:

Solid command of measurement standards, contractual frameworks, and value engineering principles.

Strong client-facing, communication, and financial report-writing skills.
