Senior Research Engineer, Project Management, ARTC

• Led and managed end-to-end R&D projects and product delivery in smart and sustainable advanced manufacturing, overseeing planning, execution, and evaluation from concept to completion.
• Lead project scoping with internal and external stakeholders to establish communication plans, build project schedules and establish clear project deliverables and milestones.
• Ensure successful delivery of project scope and targets while managing project risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Spearhead design, development, and delivery of R&D solutions to customers through active leadership of motivating and facilitating research rigour across multiple research institute project teams
• Lead and drive quality, procurement, finance and legal challenges
• Drive design / process validation testing, best practices and ensure compliance to project lifecycle governance requirements
• Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding of technical / engineering processes and lead teams throughout the project development cycle.
• Lead, monitor and report the progress of the multiple projects to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and implement project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables and mitigate risk.
• Interact with industry members and ensure effective communication throughout the project life cycle 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor or Masters in any engineering / project management related discipline
• At least 3 years of project management experience in product development or research project in manufacturing automation, robotics, and AI in aerospace and land transportation industry would be preferable 
• PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous
• Good business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines  
• Proactive team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
