Senior Sales Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Sales Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct sales activities, including customer prospecting, presentations, follow-ups, and closing sales.
• Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Analyze cost estimations against actual project costs, ensuring budget accuracy and control.
• Manage customer relationships, review contracts, and assess terms and conditions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets.
• Plan and implement marketing strategies to enhance sales performance.
• Conduct market research to monitor industry trends and business environment.
• Set sales targets and forecast potential projects and orders.
• Perform cost estimation for electrical products, such as switchboards.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams on drawing approvals, quality control, engineering, and delivery schedules.
• Issue invoices for completed projects and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assess product capabilities and ensure they align with customer requirements.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Adhere to Quality Management System procedures for compliance and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the electrical engineering sector. 
• Experience with switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  
• Must possess a valid Class 3 driving license and own a vehicle. 
• Willingness to travel as required.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 4,800 +AWS +VB (2 Months)
• Working Location: Tuas Crescent
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 5.45pm
