• 50% focus on generating new business, 50% on maintaining current business
• Implement aggressive and spontaneous marketing strategies to generate new business
• Efficiently handle daily tasks to maintain relationships with current customers
• Manage and control trading material stock inventory
• Address customer inquiries and provide sales services
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with customers on pricing matters
• Follow up with customers regarding payment issues
• Source suitable suppliers for purchasing trading materials
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure products meet customer requirements
• Verify purchase orders (P/O) from customers and suppliers for trade terms, payment terms, pricing, and lead time
• Follow up with customers on any issues, including complaints
• Take proactive actions to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of Sales and Business Development experience in commodity (PP, PS, PE) and engineering plastics (ABS, SAN, ASA, PC/ABS, POM, PBT, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Plastic Distribution business model, technical expertise, and industry connections
• Aggressive, analytical, and willing to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for a higher position
• Expertise in a specific field, capable of independent decision-making and task execution
• Able to address complex issues and make informed decisions
• Effective collaboration with other departments
• Experience leading field teams and demonstrating expertise across multiple areas
• Willing to contribute ideas and make suggestions for team improvement
• Required travel to Batam and JB for customer support, with potential future travel to developing countries for business expansion
