Senior Scientist – Process Development & Analytical Sciences (CAR-T)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Scientist (PhD) to lead efforts in process development and analytical sciences for CAR-T programs. This role will drive strategy and execution for developing robust, scalable manufacturing processes and qualified analytical assays to support clinical development. 

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cell therapy, strong scientific leadership, and the ability to independently design and execute complex studies that enhance CAR-T cell persistence, durability, and product quality. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead design and execution of CAR-T process development strategies 

• Drive innovation to improve CAR-T cell persistence, potency, and durability 

• Identify critical process parameters and ensure process robustness 

• Develop and optimize scalable CAR-T manufacturing processes 

• Design DoE studies to improve process performance and consistency 

• Lead analytical assay development, qualification, and validation 

• Provide technical leadership in flow cytometry, ddPCR, and cell-based assays 

• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and guide improvements 

• Analyze data using Prism and JMP and translate into actionable insights 

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams 

• Contribute to regulatory filings and present data to stakeholders 

• Mentor junior scientists and support team development
