Senior Software Engineer

Alber Blanc is an international prop high frequency trading company with 15 years' experience. We are among the top 5 companies trading on the biggest crypto exchanges.

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our high-performance infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing low-latency network connectivity to global financial exchanges. You will collaborate closely with traders, developers, and network engineers to ensure our trading systems achieve the lowest possible latency, highest reliability, and optimal throughput across all exchange links.

Responsibilities:

• Create, optimize and enhance algorithms.


• Collaborate with trading and systems teams to benchmark, tune, and improve round-trip performance on exchanges.


• Design and implement connectivity improvements, including path optimization, hardware acceleration, and network tuning.


• Work closely with colocation vendors, telecom providers, and exchange network teams.


• Investigate performance anomalies and propose data-driven solutions for long-term efficiency gains.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field


• Deep understanding of system programming


• Hands-on experience with co-located environments, exchange connectivity setups, and cross-connections.


• 3-7 years' experience with Rust, C++ or Java


• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


• 3–7 years of experience at a crypto exchange (nice to have)
