Senior Staff Engineer – NPI Process - Opportunity to Make a Difference

THE COMPANY

Our Client is a semiconductor equipment industry with a strong presence in APAC and Singapore. They are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer – NPI Process to join their team in Singapore. Reporting to Senior Manager. 

THE ROLE

The Senior Staff Engineer – NPI Process is responsible for:

• Perform qualification on semiconductor equipment, ensuring machine calibration, setup, and process bonding.
• Develop and implement manufacturing inspection protocols and validate necessary fixtures and jigs.
• Identify and resolve assembly process-related issues to achieve optimal first pass yield and manufacturing cycle time.
• Provide training and skillset profiling for production assembly technicians and conduct real-time monitoring of critical manufacturing processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Electrical, or Mechanical) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong statistical analysis skills and proficiency in Matlab, Python, JMP, or Minitab.
• In-depth understanding of advanced machinery and excellent systematic problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in process development of bonding processes such as Wire Bonding, Die Bonding, Thermocompression Bonding, or Flip Chip.
