Job Description - Senior System Integration Engineer
Your new company You will be working with a reputable engineering and system integration organization delivering mission-critical automation and control solutions across industrial and infrastructure environments. The company partners with clients to design, integrate, and commission reliable, high-performance control systems that meet stringent operational and regulatory requirements.
Your new role
Lead the design and development of PLC, SCADA, and industrial control systems using platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider
Develop system architecture, control philosophies, and functional design specifications
Design control panels, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and instrumentation layouts
Perform hardware and software integration across multiple platforms and third-party systems
Participate in full project lifecycle, including client engagement and technical coordination
Configure and integrate industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
Support site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system debugging
Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and technical reports
Monitor engineering progress and contribute to on-time delivery of project milestones
Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Propose improvements to system design, engineering workflows, and best practices
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
5-8 years of experience in industrial automation or system integration
Strong hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA programming and commissioning
Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC)
Experience with control panels, field instrumentation, and electrical systems
Comfortable working on-site for installation, testing, and commissioning activities within Singapore
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
