Senior System Integration Engineer

You will be working with a reputable engineering and system integration organization delivering mission-critical automation and control solutions across industrial and infrastructure environments. The company partners with clients to design, integrate, and commission reliable, high-performance control systems that meet stringent operational and regulatory requirements.

Your new role

• Lead the design and development of PLC, SCADA, and industrial control systems using platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider
• Develop system architecture, control philosophies, and functional design specifications
• Design control panels, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and instrumentation layouts
• Perform hardware and software integration across multiple platforms and third-party systems
• Participate in full project lifecycle, including client engagement and technical coordination
• Configure and integrate industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
• Support site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system debugging
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and technical reports
• Monitor engineering progress and contribute to on-time delivery of project milestones
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Propose improvements to system design, engineering workflows, and best practices

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline
• 5-8 years of experience in industrial automation or system integration
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA programming and commissioning
• Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC)
• Experience with control panels, field instrumentation, and electrical systems
• Comfortable working on-site for installation, testing, and commissioning activities within Singapore
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
