Senior Vice President -Global Tax Product (Client Tax services )

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Global Tax Product team within Client Tax services located in Singapore.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Working with the Tax Product Management team, you will be responsible for delivery on key strategic and client focused global tax initiatives covering withholding tax, financial transaction tax, fund admin tax and other securities tax matters.

• Help to build and maintain a comprehensive, prioritized roadmap balancing compliance mandates, client experience, and commercial value

• Partner with Sales and Coverage teams in APAC on complex custody and fund admin tax deals by leading end-to-end solutioning. You will coordinate RFP responses, participate in client pitches, due diligence and define scalable operating and technology solutions tailored to client requirements incl. assessment of risk and control impacts, and pricing alignment.
• Providing coverage for the APAC region, you will engage with Clients, local market participants and internal stakeholders including regional leadership teams, on global tax matters.
• Expand product coverage and capabilities by identifying opportunities, prioritizing enhancements, and delivering scalable, compliant solutions utilizing BNY’s AI framework. 
• Evaluate and approve non-standard client service requests by leading solution design and cross-functional execution; perform assessments with corporate, business and operational partners; secure required governance/risk approvals; orchestrate cross functional delivery clear timelines, KPIs, and change management to drive client satisfaction

We are seeking an experienced Tax Product manager. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  

• 10+ years experience working in financial services and/or Big 4 firm working on international custody tax matters impacting global clients with a deep knowledge of domestic and foreign withholding taxes, tax relief systems, capital gains and financial transaction taxes.

• Brings strong skills in analysis, solution design, ability to lead cross functional teams, and hands-on execution

• Proven experience partnering with Sales on high-value, complex pitches and RFPs—shaping solutions, commercials, and client presentations to drive wins. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

• Understands AI and the aptitude to utilize and leverage AI in solutioning within governance frameworks 

• Self-driven with a focus on ownership and the ability to execute on projects 

• Excellent time management skills required together with ability to prioritize workload and multi-task activities for timely delivery and conclusion.

Proficient user for MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience of Agile methodologies and tools including JIRA would be an asset but not mandatory
