Senior Warehouse Assistant (Forklift) - Urgent

The Opportunity:

• Work location: Jurong Port
• Working hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Basic up to $4,000 & Benefits

Adecco is partnering with a global logistics MNC in the 3PL sector and we are currently seeking for a Senior Warehouse Assistant. This role involves managing import and export warehousing duties including conducting physical inspections on incoming and outgoing cargo and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.

The Job:

• Coordinate and arrange with external vendors for daily shipments.
• Conduct physical checks on import and export cargoes to ensure it is in good condition.
• Perform physical counts before receiving or releasing cargoes.
• Verify documents and match them with physical cargo before receiving and releasing.
• Monitor the movement of incoming and outgoing shipments through in-house systems.
• Liaise with the customer service team to address any documentation or cargo discrepancy issues.
• Carry out physical picking, sorting, packing, and labeling as per customer requests.
• Load and unload containers.
• Palletize loose cargo as required.
• Conduct in-house surveys and issue cargo irregularity reports when necessary.
• Monitor and update inventory within warehouse storage.
• Handle clearance or lodgement of valuable cargo at terminals.

The Talent:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of warehousing or logistics experience
• Must possess a Forklift license
