Senior/Executive, Doctors’ Payments

Responsible for performing and providing oversight on the account of all doctors’ fees and payments, patient refunds and write-offs in PSC.

Job Responsibilities:

• To generate the doctor fees collection letter for circulation and resolving requests for doctor fee adjustments with the Billing & Claims team.
• To initiate and work with Finance Department to perform timely doctors’ fees payments.
• To ensure appropriateness, initiate and work with Finance Department to perform timely patient refunds.
• To update doctors periodically on their Statement of Accounts (SOA) and provide the necessary status updates on patient accounts pending insurance payouts.
• To assess and periodically compile patient accounts for write-off approval by the Board through Head, Patient Service Centre and the necessary authorities.
• To manage doctors’ account set up and maintain doctors’ contract agreements.
• To attend to enquiries from doctors, clinics, patients and insurers.
• Maintain good rapport with all stakeholders especially doctors and clinic staff.
• To perform other tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma holder with accounting background/relevant experience.
• Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and insurance related experience would be helpful.
• Preferably some experience in healthcare or specifically business office/Patient Service Centre.
• Self-driven and motivated individual who can contribute positively within a team environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
