Senior/Tax Accountant (Semiconductor, based in AMK) - Rewarding Work

• Experience from Big 4 purely handling tax matters and commercial tax experiences
• Salary up to $6,000 - $6,500 (commensurate with skills & capabilities)

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Group Tax Manager and actively contribute to the Group tax function, fostering collaboration with accounting and tax team members across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with statutory tax requirements by preparing necessary tax returns and computations.
• Manage tax queries, audits, disputes, and resolutions with relevant tax authorities for both Singapore and overseas locations.
• Prepare and review quarterly GST filings and respond to ad-hoc GST inquiries.
• Coordinate and/or prepare the Group’s transfer pricing documentation to ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Monitor taxes, withholding tax, and manage tax audits effectively.
• Assist in periodic tax reporting and the preparation of tax provisions.
• Support tax-related activities for M&A and strategic projects, including due diligence and post-transaction integration.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional accounting qualifications.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably gained from public accounting firms and/or commercial entities, with a focus on taxation.
• Proficiency in local tax laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
