Service Associate - Room Attendant (Runner)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates full understanding of the Shangri-La Experience and adheres to current corporate and hotel housekeeping service standards.

  • Collects and acts on guest preferences to enhance satisfaction.
  
  
  • Maintains professional and caring interactions with guests, following hotel policies and procedures.
  
  
  
  


• Operational Processes
  
  
  
  • Responds promptly to guest requests and runs errands as needed.
  
  
  • Properly uses and cares for housekeeping chemicals and equipment.
  
  
  • Cleans and sets up guest rooms, including extra beds and baby cots/playpens.
  
  
  • Manages guest loan items, ensuring they are clean, functional, and properly tracked.
  
  
  • Follows SOPs for handling master keys, pagers, and phones.
  
  
  • Reports any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment to the Service Leader – Housekeeping.
  
  
  • Identifies and reports maintenance deficiencies to the Service Leader – Housekeeping to ensure timely resolution. 
  
  
  
  

Key Requirements:

• At least 1 year's working experience under the housekeeping department within the hospitality industry.
