Service Engineer

About the role

Good Gear Solution Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and experienced Service Engineer to join our team in the Tuas West Region. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for our clients' industrial equipment and machinery. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients' operations.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to implement preventative maintenance strategies
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on the operation and care of their equipment
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• PSV/SRV testing and jobs onsite or shipyard for the customers who need us.

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline
• Singaporean or Singapore PR
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar maintenance role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Excellent knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery, including maintenance and repair procedures
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical schematics, manuals, and documentation
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties, to meet the needs of our clients
