Service Technician

As Service Technician, you are also responsible for providing configuration (including on-site/customer sites), installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of customers’ machines to ensure that they are functional and efficient.

What will you deliver?

• Configure, install, test and commission new machines.
• Establish and implement process specification and troubleshooting in customer sites.
• Assist and coordinate in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform calibration and configuration on existing machine.
• Monitor machine running performance & device improvement planning.
• Facilitate regular equipment maintenance to keep machines in working order and minimize downtime. 
• Write reports to document work done on the machines.
• Apply adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machine as well as other equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure proper safety and procedure related to the machines.
• Provide field service training to internal users and customers.
• Maintain database of internal and external product test data.
• Provide professional consultation to customers after each service.
• Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
• Ensure compliance with HoST’s policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications

• Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Electronics Engineering or other related disciplines
• Min 1 – 2 years in industrial automation, with background as system integrator or OEM machine builder preferred
• Experience in machine services
• Organised, responsible, self-disciplined 
• Good team player with ability to work independently and under pressure
