💼 Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician / Engineer to join our Service team. As a Service Technician / Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pumps, motors, and related machinery, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role involves both in-house and on-site service support, including vessel-based assignments, as well as preparing inspection reports and maintaining accurate service documentation.

🎯 What you will do (Key Responsibilities)

• Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, and machines, including disassembly, reassembly, and replacement of worn or faulty components and consumables.
• Address and resolve customer concerns through direct interaction, providing clear explanations of diagnoses and available repair options to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Attend on-site service requests, including on-board vessel repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Participate actively in company-sponsored training programs to stay current with the latest technology, repair techniques, and service solutions, enhancing your technical expertise.
• Prepare inspection and test reports, ensuring proper documentation of all maintenance and repair activities for compliance and record-keeping.
• Lead and perform Energy Cylinder repairs (training will be provided), contributing to our specialized service offerings.

👤 What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in hydraulic pump/motor repair with basic troubleshooting expertise.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle on-site issues independently.
• Ability to conduct testing to confirm successful installation or repair.
• Proficiency in using PCs for preparing inspection and service reports.
• Flexibility and readiness to respond to urgent service calls, including on-board vessel assignments, at short notice.
