Responsibilities:
- Planning and assigning daily tasks
- Constant communication with drivers for job completion
- Liaising with customers to address any job-related issues
- Reporting cargo damage and traffic accidents to the Operation Manager
- Investigating incidents/accidents promptly
- Proactively seeking time extensions for export collections
- Planning vehicle servicing and inspection
- Handling planning and deployment of Haulier drivers
- Providing accurate and timely updates on job schedules
- Coordinating with operations executives on traffic arrangements
- Monitoring vehicle breakdowns and repair status
- Managing and leading a team of prime mover drivers
- Controlling and monitoring drivers' movements through GPS tracking
- Handling documentation through Portnet and other online systems
- Coordinating with customer service for trucking-related matters
- Liaising with relevant parties on shipment arrangements
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office-Excel & Words
- At least 2 years experience in Transport Operations.
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Problem-solving mindset
