Job Description - Shipping Administrator (North / Up to $3k / 1 year contract / SAP / FMCG)

Job Description:

Liaising with shipping lines to ensure that Bill of Lading is received promptly.

Printing Bill of Lading from central freight email and checking contract rates.

Ensure that all Freight invoices are issued accurately and promptly to all customers.

Ensure that all disputes/abnormalities are escalated and updated in the dispute logbook in a timely and accurate manner

To create accurate self-billing reports and tracking disputes with respective shipping lines on the agreed schedule.

Validate and certify all freight bills received from shipping lines are correct and passed for approval within the given deadline.

Reconciliation of any missing/dispute invoices with customers and/or shipping lines

Requirements

Minimum Diploma or higher in logistics or any related disciplines

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in FMCG industry

Basic understanding of INCOTERMS

Shipping knowledge particularly in Bill of Lading is required

Preferably experience in using JD Edwards / SAP

Proficient in Microsoft Office
