Shipping Coordinator (SG only!/Import Export Exp/Sea Freight)

Responsibilities:

• Handle operation for import or export shipment and prepare necessary documentations monitor shipment and ensure receipt of shipping documents.
• Liaising with Shipping line/forwarder - booking of containers, checking of vessel schedule.
• Data entry using in-house system.
• Coordinate with transporters for trucking of containers.
• Submission of Inward list to barge operator for portnet declaration.
• Liaising with Indonesia counterpart on container issues.
• Submission of Loading Confirmation reports to shipping liners/freight forwarders.
• VGM (Verified Gross Mass) - Submission to shipping liner's online platform.
• Apply and process permit using Tradenet/Tradeweb.
• Issue work orders to external and internal contractors.
• Verify billings from the shipping line and contractor invoice.
• Handle any other ad-hoc / administrative duties

Requirements:

• Sea Freight: Import & Export experience required
• Minimum GCE O level preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office-Excel & office
• Good communication skills (phone and e-mails).
• Good IT knowledge.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Possess initiative and ability to work independently
