Shipping Officers

Clerical and Documentation Support:

• Prepare sales and purchase contracts.
• Compile and process a full set of import/export shipping documents, including Letters of Credit, Certificates of Origin, Customs/Insurance declarations, and monthly delivery/sales reports.
• Issue payment vouchers.

Coordination and Communication:

• Liaise with suppliers, overseas offices, customers, and forwarding agents to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery.

Travel and Administrative Assistance:

• Arrange air ticket reservations and hotel bookings for marketing staff and guests.
• Process business trip claims and prepare payment vouchers for corporate credit card settlements.
• Perform clerical duties such as managing email/fax correspondence, filing, and photocopying.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum 2 -5 years of related working experiences in an International trading / logistics environment.
• Experience in preparation of shipping documents for import & export shipments
• Strong understanding of the intricacies of shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, export/import documentation) and banking documentation (such as Letters of Credit)
• Proficient in MS office applications (Knowledge of SAP is advantageous)
• Able to work independently in a dynamic environment

Location : Town - 5 days

Salary : $S3,000.00 – S$3,800.00
