Site Purchaser

Responsibilities

• Manage the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services to ensure the best value for money, quality, services and timely delivery, in the most efficient and effective way
• Coordinate with the site operation team in construction stage
• Actively identify potential new sources of supply in order to create opportunities for the best value
• Source and establish network with capable and competitive manufacturers and suppliers
• Initiate and recommend new suppliers, manage suppliers relationship and evaluate suppliers performance
• Verify purchase orders, invoices and prepare reports for review
• Issue purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on orders and delivery schedules
• Execute material requisition process in accordance with the established procedures
• Perform general administrative and data entry duties

Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position in the construction industry is preferred
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 
• Knowledge in Enterprises Resources Planning (ERP) software will have an added advantage
• Meticulous, eye for details and a good team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
