Site Security Manager (TIC)

We are seeking a highly experienced security professional to join our global security team to oversee security operations and security program for sites in AMSEA as Site Security Manager.\n\nThe Global Security Operations (GSO) team is responsible for all security operations and programs, ensuring a safe, secure, and resilient working environment across AMSEA sites.\n\nThis role supports daily security operations, incident response, access control governance, and coordination with internal teams and external partners. The Site Security Manager plays an essential part in maintaining a strong security posture while delivering excellent employee experience.\n\nThe Site Security Manager will report to Head Security (SEA) whose portfolio covers Southeast Asia countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. The team is accountable for the execution of Security programs and initiatives for Applied Material\u2019s regional security function.\n\nProgram Components Include\n\n * Security operation \u0026 Vendor management\n * Access Control \u0026 Identity management\n * Incident management \u0026 Investigation\n * SOC Management \u0026 security technology oversight\n * Audit \u0026 Governance\n * Reporting \u0026 Documentation\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSecurity Operations \u0026 Guard Force Management\n\n * Lead day\u2011to\u2011day security operations across the sites, ensuring full coverage, service quality and adherence to post orders.\n * Supervise and manage security vendors, staffing, shift schedules, performance and vendor\u2019s Service Level Agreement (SLA).\n * Conduct routine inspections and ensure quality, professionalism, and compliance of all security personnel.\n\n\n\nAccess Control \u0026 Identity Management\n\n * Oversee badge lifecycle, access authorisations, periodic access reviews, visitor management, and key/lock control.\n * Ensure adherence to global access policies and lobby/entry standards.\n\n\n\nSecurity Operations \u0026 Systems Oversight\n\n * Oversee operation of security systems including CCTV, intrusion alarms and any duress systems\n * Coordinate preventive maintenance, service tickets, upgrades, and system health monitoring in partnership with integrators and IT.\n * Support expansion-related security technology deployments.\n\n\n\nIncident Management \u0026 Investigation\n\n * Serve as the primary incident lead and first responder for security events.\n * Ensure timely escalation, detailed documentation, and thorough after\u2011action reviews (AARs).\n * Conduct fact\u2011finding investigations and work with HR, Legal, Compliance, and relevant stakeholders.\n\n\n\nSupport for remote site offices security (AMSEA)\n\n * Oversees security operations and annual audits\n * Deliver security awareness training and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) (e.g. SOP, table-top exercise etc)\n\n\n\nSecurity Risk Assessments \u0026 Compliance\n\n * Perform periodic risk assessments and maintain site(s) security risk register.\n * Ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory obligations, customer requirements, and data privacy laws.\n * Drive audit readiness and corrective action closure\n\n\n\nPerimeter, Parking \u0026 Dock Security\n\n * Oversee perimeter protection, lighting, gates, and parking controls.\n * Ensure secure and compliant operations for all staffs/visitors, vehicle, and delivery entry points.\n\n\n\nSecurity Governance \u0026 Expansion Support\n\n * Strengthen SOPs, contractor controls, visitor management, and operational compliance.\n * Manage security\u2011related infrastructure enhancements for ongoing TIC expansion phases through 2026.\n * Support security projects and audits across Southeast Asia as requirements grow.\n\n\n\n## Skills, Knowledge, Experience \u0026 Education \n\n## Required Qualifications\n\nThe ideal candidate is preferred to have the following:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree holder\n * Minimal 5+ years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, or corporate security.\n * Experience in managing guard force operations and security systems (CCTV, alarms and/or access control).\n * Strong knowledge of emergency response, incident management, and risk assessment.\n * Demonstrated ability to work with cross\u2011functional teams (EHS, Facilities, IT, HR).\n * Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\n\n\n\n## Key Competencies\n\n * Operational leadership \u0026 decisive problem-solving\n * Crisis management \u0026 ability to stay calm under pressure\n * Strong stakeholder engagement \u0026 communication\n * Vendor and contract management excellence\n * Technical proficiency in security systems and operations\n * High integrity, sound judgment and confidentiality\n * Continuous improvement mindset with the courage to challenge the status quo to enhance security, efficiency, and governance\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nHigh School Diploma/GED\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n4 - 7 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nNone\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
