Snr / Accountant (Plant / Manufacturing)

Overview

We are looking for a capable and meticulous finance professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager. In this role, you will oversee accounting functions across Singapore and regional entities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strong financial governance.

Financial Management & Reporting

1. Oversee daily accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, payables, receivables, and expense processing
2. Handle complete sets of accounts for both local and overseas entities
3. Lead month-end closing processes and produce timely management reports covering financial performance and cash flow

Intercompany Coordination

1. Manage and reconcile intercompany balances, ensuring alignment with overseas counterparts

Audit & Controls

1. Serve as the key contact for external auditors at both local and group levels
2. Prepare supporting documents for audits and address queries effectively
3. Strengthen and monitor internal control processes across procurement, sales, expenses, and inventory

Compliance & Tax

1. Support corporate tax calculations and coordinate submissions with external tax advisors
2. Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and corporate governance standards

What We’re Looking For

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
2. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an added advantage
3. At least 5 years of relevant experience; candidates with manufacturing exposure are preferred
4. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and strong Microsoft Office skills
5. Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
6. Proficiency in both English and Chinese to effectively liaise with Regional HQ in China
