Responsibilities:
- Manage daily purchases and follow up with suppliers regarding orders.
- Coordinate with the warehouse on ordering and incoming goods.
- Research and evaluate new and existing suppliers by comparing product quality, pricing, and delivery times.
- Request quotations and negotiate prices with suppliers.
- Liaise with external warehouses on incoming and outgoing goods, and monitor stock balances.
- Address issues with suppliers regarding product quality, including damaged, expired, or missing items.
- Reconcile purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of orders, shipments, inventory, reports, and price lists.
- Prepare all documentation required for food safety and Halal audits.
- Handle import coordination and documentation.
- Perform other ad hoc procurement administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Good negotiation skills.
