Job Summary

You will support patients through intake interviews, financial assessments, and care arrangement evaluations while collaborating with Medical Social Workers to ensure effective social work service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews with patients to assess financial needs and care arrangements
• Collaborate with Medical Social Workers to coordinate and enhance social work services
• Process Medifund applications and submissions at CMMAS ensuring compliance with regulations
• Provide responsive support to patients and family members at the reception counter
• Monitor and follow up on the utilization and disbursement of various fund applications
• Track departmental funds and prepare detailed monthly financial reports

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma from a recognized institution
• Experience in a related job scope
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients and families
