Software Engineer – JavaScript $4.5K - $6K VB / Location near Bedok MRT

Role Summary

• Build and own a secure, enterprise-grade credential management Chrome Extension
• Develop RESTful APIs and a proxy server to integrate with Java/Tomcat backend
• Apply OWASP guidelines and secure coding practices throughout the stack
• Collaborate cross-functionally in a cybersecurity-focused product team

Key Duties

• Design and implement a full-featured Chrome Extension (JavaScript) for credential management
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs between the Chrome Extension and Java/Tomcat backend
• Design and implement a proxy server to inject JavaScript into web applications
• Follow OWASP guidelines and secure coding practices across all deliverables

Requirements

Must-have

• 5+ years of professional JavaScript software development experience
• In-depth knowledge of web applications and browser-to-server communication flow
• In-depth knowledge of browser-to-server authentication mechanisms
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Good to have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience with Chrome Extensions (Manifest V3) and Java/Tomcat backends
• Knowledge of password manager architecture and OWASP Top 10
• Familiarity with SAML, OpenID Connect, or other SSO protocols
• Interest in Generative AI / Machine Learning applications
