- Adecco is partnering with a multinational corporation Semiconductor company to search for a Software Engineer
The Opportunity
- Focus: Roaming, software troublshooting, system implementation testing and UAT
- Office location: Singapore, North-East
- Working hours: 5 days' work (Monday-Friday) 40 hours work week
- This role will start off as contract position
The Talent
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/Engineering or Related field of study.
- Experience in Manufacturing IT environment is advantage.
Minimum 1 years of experience in any of the following below:
- Developing applications to support manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and engineering analysis
- Good flair for software programming
- Database development and design with MS-SQL
- Windows programming in C#
- Scripting experience in Perl
- Markup languages: XML, HTML, XSL. Strong XML knowledge is preferred.
- Understanding of middleware and messaging concepts
- Machine Communication: SECS/GEM, Serial, OPC.
- End user GUI design
- Source code management best practices
- Agile methodologies
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing.
- Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.
- Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
- Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
- Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
- Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
