Software QA Engineer

• Salary: up to $6500
• 5 days work week

Job Description

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer with hands-on experience in creating tests to identify software issues before product launch. This includes identifying and analyzing bugs or errors, documenting findings for review, and providing recommendations to the development team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily production smoke tests to ensure the stability of the build,
• Document findings in clear, concise reports and provide timely communication on assignment status
• Follow priorities given to ensure goals/requirements are met
• Work closely with the development team to identify areas to test and construct relevant test cases/plans
• Support the development team in a deeper investigation of issues reported and potential fixes
• Provide documentation where necessary
• Verify fixes made in the production of build/release notes
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of relevant market applications and apply insights to enhance product development strategies.
• Perform other QA-related ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in Software/Web Application Testing and working alongside the developmental team
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Strong observational skills to detect subtle issues and ensure software quality
• Diploma in Information Technology or Equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and spoken/written English
• Good interpersonal skill
• Outspoken, Meticulous and details orientated
• Experience in test automation scripts and guidelines is preferred.
