Position Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Solana. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our Solana services are secure, reliable, and scalable from designing and operating internal and external RPC infrastructure to working closely with product teams to ensure fair and efficient usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain deployment and monitoring systems for bare-metal servers and services.

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.

• Define and manage SLOs/SLAs, plus cost models and capacity planning tools to forecast needs and control spend.

• Develop dashboards and alerts with Grafana, DataDog, and other tools to detect anomalies before they cause outages.

• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.

• Implement strong security measures to safeguard data and prevent attacks.

• Collaborate with product teams to improve service performance and scalability.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical systems.

• Minimum of 5+ years in Technical Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles, with proven Linux/Unix system administration and advanced troubleshooting capabilities. Holding an RHCE-level Linux or similar certification would be beneficial.

• Hands-on experience running and optimizing Solana validator nodes, RPC endpoints, and related infrastructure at scale.

• Familiarity with Solana protocol internals and core components.

• Experience with validator logs, RPC debugging, and Solana-specific operational issues.

• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Consul), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and scaling cloud services.

• Strong skills in Rust, Go, or JavaScript.

• Advanced monitoring and analytics expertise (Grafana, DataDog).

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
