Solutions Engineer

insightsoftware is seeking a Solutions Engineer  with experience in EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) reporting directly to the Manager of Solutions Engineering. This position will handle product demonstrations, pre-sales support and partner enablement for our Enterprise Performance Management business unit. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our sales and post-sales teams, providing expert guidance to prospects on how our products can address their specific business challenges. You should have a consulting mindset and experience mapping customer requirements to software solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our solutions, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor presentations that demonstrate how our solutions can meet those requirements.
• Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations, highlighting the value and capabilities of our offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solution Design: Work closely with prospects to design custom solutions that align with their business processes and objectives.
• Proposal Development: Assist in crafting detailed proposals and responses to RFPs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with prospect needs.
• Feedback Loop: Gather insights from prospect interactions to inform product development and enhance our solutions.

• Previous experience as a Solutions/Sales Engineer or similar role is preferred
• Relevant EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) experience is a requirement
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Computer Science or related discipline required or equivalent work experience
• Be mobile and travel to client locations occasionally
• Fluent in English - preference will be given to Chinese speaking candidates
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
