Sourcing Manager (Softlines) - Collaborative Environment

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an American Retail MNC with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Sourcing Manager to be based at their Singapore HQ! Reporting directly to the Sourcing Director, the successful incumbent will define and implement the company's sourcing strategy across their own categories, drive sourcing strategies, and maintain strong business relationships with vendors.

• Work location: Central Region
• Work days/hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm
• FMCG industry - either handling Ladies OR Mens and Boys categories

The Job:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies in collaboration with the Sourcing Director.
• Drive sourcing initiatives to meet financial targets and strategic goals.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure high-quality, cost-effective merchandise.
• Cultivate a strong supplier network and explore alternative solutions.
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers/factories, improving processes continually.
• Work with cross-functional teams to bring product ideas to market.
• Streamline supply chain processes to reduce lead times.
• Utilize negotiation skills to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Manage multiple product categories efficiently.

The Talent:

• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in sourcing and merchandising for softline categories
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) is a must
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and strong analytical skills
• Strategic mindset and strong commitment to achieving business objectives
• Ability to multi-task in a high-energy working environment
• Comfortable to travel on business trips (approximately 2-3 times a year)
