Job Description - Sous Chef

The Plattering Co is known for its creative and hearty sharing platters, catering setups, bentos and beautiful cheese platters and grazing table displays.

We are looking for motivated and positive team player to join our dynamic team and fast-growing company.

Job description:

  • Ensure hygiene standards are adhered to for food safety.
  • Execute kitchen operations to ensure timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Ensure food quality and consistency
  • Support in crafting creative menu and dishes.
  • Support Executive Chef in kitchen operations.
  • Monitor budget and supply inventory.
  • Ensure workplace safety.
  • Support in supplies ordering.
  • Other adhoc tasks assigned.

Requirements: 

  • Diploma in culinary arts.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Possess WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
  • Possess WSQ Food Safety Course Level 3 certification a plus.
  • Able to work well in a team.
  • Possess good time management and organisation skills.
