Spa Therapist

Job Summary

You will perform massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies while maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring guest comfort. You will communicate with guests to tailor treatments, manage records, and handle guest concerns professionally.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas, change treatment room sheets, and sterilize all instruments and equipment before each use to maintain hygiene and safety
• Explain massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and provide suitable recommendations based on their needs
• Perform various types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies effectively
• Maintain detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest for accurate tracking
• Communicate with guests during massages to adjust techniques according to their comfort and preferences
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and report any accidents to the supervisor to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
• Ensure the spa is adequately stocked with supplies and report shortages to the supervisor to maintain smooth operations
• Enquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services to ensure safe treatment delivery
• Work on weekends and public holidays as required to support spa operations
• Commit to a full-time, permanent position

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"N" or "O" Level education
• Hold a professional certificate such as CIDESCO, CIBTAC, ITEC, NITEC in beauty and wellness, or relevant certifications
