Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Service Delivery:
Provide clinical supervision and consultations to maintain high rehab standards
Implement evidence-based practices through guidelines, protocols, and equipment selection
Deliver direct clinical services to a diverse patient population
Oversee rehab team coordination to maximize efficiency and ensure quality care
Operational & Administrative Oversight:
Monitor post-audit improvements and follow-up on corrective measures
Manage equipment procurement, allocation, maintenance, and inventory
Assist in staff scheduling and caseload distribution
Lead team meetings focused on enhancing rehab service quality
Evaluate junior staff performance and provide mentorship
Conduct incident investigations and reporting
Training, Research & Professional Development:
Develop initiatives to improve efficiency and workplace safety
Oversee individual staff training plans and competency assessments
Organize drills, audits, and skill enhancement programs
Coordinate in-service training, research activities, and developmental projects
Foster specialized expertise among staff and build leadership succession pipelines
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Speech Therapy (recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council)
Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Speech Therapist in a community setting
Project management experience preferred
Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Effective leadership, management, and problem-solving skills
