This is an outstanding opportunity to collaborate with world-class professionals and determine innovative solutions that strictly adhere to our ambitious goals!\n\n## \n\n## Responsibilities:\n\n * Develop and successfully implement processes to monitor collaborator happiness with key suppliers, and recommend value-maximizing targets such as revenue growth and spend reduction.\n\n * Assist in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting by developing category strategies for managed categories.\n\n * Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers, driving category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.\n\n * Share market insights and category price trends with internal collaborators, using should-cost models for designated categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global market.\n\n * Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc., and lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation.\n\n * Develop supplier contract strategies for assigned categories by incorporating cost savings, negotiating contracts, sourcing, and evaluating suppliers.\n\n * Collaborate with key customers to deliver strategic solutions by developing and maintaining expertise in assigned spend categories through positive relationship management.\n\n * Drive a customer-centric approach to issue resolution and Procurement representation by developing collaborative partnerships that improve cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.\n\n\n\n\n## \n\n## Minimum Qualifications:\n\n * Over 10 years of experience in the Construction / Tool Install Category.\n\n * A relevant bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience.\n\n * Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.\n\n * Effective communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.\n\n * Advanced skills in material cost structure understanding and analysis\n\n\n\n\n## \n\n## Preferred Qualifications:\n\n * A decade of experience within the Construction / Tool Install Category.\n\n * Prior experience working in indirect category management at a semiconductor company.\n\n * Experience working with Ariba, SAP, and SCOUT.\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nBuyer 4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
