If you\u2019re ready to take on a role that blends engineering expertise with innovations, we welcome your application\n\n## \n\n## Job Description\n\nWe are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Facilities Electrical Senior Engineer to lead the Engineering, Maintenance, and strategic development of on-site electrical systems. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical infrastructure supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align with site, corporate, and departmental goals.\n\nThey will contribute expert technical knowledge to advance innovative solutions, ensuring visible impact at the project or program level. The role also requires awareness of leadership skill development, fostering growth in both technical and leadership dimensions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations. Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline.\n * Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, Dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.\n * Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies.\n * Oversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.\n * Review and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades.\n * Provide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases.\n * Conduct risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and enhance system resilience.\n * Mentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training programs and hands-on site engagement.\n * Lead post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.\n * Drive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.\n * Spearhead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n * Education: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master\u2019s preferred).\n * Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical\n * Systems Design, Maintenance, and Operations within semiconductor or advanced\n * manufacturing environments.\n * Technical Skills: Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards.\n * Familiarity with SMART systems and predictive maintenance tools is advantageous.\n * Communication: Strong interpersonal and project management skills, fluent in English,\n * with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.\n * Project Management: Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to\n * manage multiple concurrent initiatives.\n * Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and facilities systems.\n * Self-driven, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and innovation.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nFacilities Engineer 3\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
